Emitter
Emitter
Master toggle for the Emitter group. Unchecked (default): no continuous spawn, only the initial water fill. Check to enable and unlock the emitter settings below.
Position
Point in the comp where particles spawn (circular region, default 50%, 20%). Keyframeable.
Size
Radius of the spawn region in pixels (1 to 200, default 20). Larger = wider "spray".
Rate
Particles per second (0 to 2000, default 50). High values + small size = fire-hose.
Force %
Initial velocity of spawned particles (0 to 2000, default 200). 0 = particles start at rest; high values = particles shoot out. Keyframeable.
Direction
Angle of the emission cone. 0° = up, 90° = right, 180° = down, 270° = left (default 180°). Keyframeable.
Spread %
Angular width of the emission cone (0 to 100%, default 30%). 0% = laser-thin stream, 100% = omnidirectional.
Inherit Velocity %
Newly spawned particles inherit the emitter's or shape-layer's alpha content's motion (0 to 500, draggable to 200, default 0). At 100% they match the emitter's current velocity; above 100% overshoots stylistically.
Emitter Shape
Optional AE layer whose alpha defines where particles spawn. Shape Mode controls Outline (only along the alpha edge) or Filled (across the whole alpha area).
Link Position to Shape Layer
When on with an Emitter Shape assigned, binds Emitter Position to the shape layer's transform.position. For pixel / video layers with internal alpha motion, leave off: the plugin auto-detects and tracks content motion via a Kalman filter.
